I first heard about the Atlantic Row around 13 years ago and ever since then it is something I have dreamt of taking part in.
I have no rowing or ocean-going experience, but I do have a determination to succeed at this and stubbornness to see it through.
This is a once in a lifetime challenge and an opportunity to truly test myself. It’s something I want to do to show my kids that with hard work, determination and discipline that you can achieve anything.
Last, but by no means least, I want to raise as much awareness and money as possible to help support the fight to End Duchenne.
